Nestled in the middle of the Garrigue in the Narbonnaise Natural Park, on the old road leading to the Abbey of Fontfroide, La Milhauque, a former sheepcote from 1752, is a haven of peace for lovers of cam and rural simplicity in search of a rejuvenating accommodation outside the turpitudes of city life.
At the start of over 500 kilometers of trails, the site is particularly suitable for nature lovers, hiking and equestrian enthusiasts, mountain bikers, artists and writers in search of inspiration, as a place for family or friends’ reunions as well as groups in training courses, well-being, discovery of local fauna or flora or in “digital detox”.
Integrated into the charming commune of Peyriac de Mer, halfway between the Sigean African Reserve and the historic city of Narbonne, it overlooks the tidal ponds of the Narbonnaise and further away the coasts of the Gulf of Lion.

Each of the rooms has an en suite bathroom, heating and electric towel dryer (hair dryer upon request) and independent access to the outside with a view of the scrubland.
Breakfasts, meetings or training courses take place in a 40m2 gazebo open on a 30m2 terrace erected in front of a pond of aquatic plants, fish and frogs.
This space, also dedicated to relaxation, has a seating area (with fridge, coffee machine, board games for your personal needs) and a garden with hammocks under the olive trees).
